We would like to announce the release of Brainloop Secure Dataroom 8.58.000. Secure Dataroom includes BoardRoom, DealRoom and CollaborationRoom.

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Enhanced reliability and robustness by improving the backup process for scheduled tasks.
    In some cases, the backup processes would show the incorrect status “Running” when an error occurred. This would block other backups. For better maintenance, we have now introduced time limits for the backup cleanup.

  • Enhanced clarity for customers by improving the German message about an ongoing archiving process.
    Previously, it was not clear to users whether the archive was successfully created and why they could not initiate a new archive.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where users were still able to see a Dataroom in their Favorites although their accounts were already deactivated due to inactivity.

  • The voting option "To all at any time during the vote" now works as expected.
    Due to an issue with assigned permissions, participants were not able to view the current voting status of the other voters.

  • Fixed an issue where no cover page was created for document collections during Brainmark conversion.
    This resulted from incorrect page counting, which caused the first page to be omitted.

  • Fixed an issue with bookmarks in document collections that include template files.

  • Fixed an error due to which an incorrect value was referenced in the Activity Report.

  • Performed a library update provided by Apryse to include fixes in the PDFtron converter, for example, with regard to issues in rendering images in tables.

  • In Application Administration, the Trashcan Retention check for Dataroom maintenance is now working correctly.
    The functionality was improved by setting reasonable maximum retention values.
